Are you loving the bird trend as much as I am? Every where I go it seems there are patterns with swallows or blue birds or those cute little chicks. Birds are printed on cute t-shirts, fabric made into lovely handbags and even made incorporated into jewelry pieces. Birds are definitely in this spring season.
Inspired by our feathered friends I drew up a couple new digital clip art sets. The first is a set of birdhouses. I love seeing old, weather-worn birdhouses out at the nursery. As soon as my trees get big enough, I would love to have one. Maybe a white washed bird house that looks very rustic and worn.
The second is a set of some cute little stitched love birds with a burlap texture. I love these little birds and think they are definitely a cute Easter embellishment.

I love birds, too. It always reminds me of the episode of Portlandia where they sing “put a bird on it!” Because everything is better with a bird.
I’ve been wanting to check out “Portlandia!” I’ll def have to keep an eye out for that song!

Guess I’m a little slow…I didn’t realize there is currently a bird trend going on. But then again, I’ve always loved birds. You’ll see that motif repeated over and over again in my house. I especially like your birdhouses.
I love Paige’s comment about the “put a bird on it” sketch. Many bird related items remind me of that, too. Your bird houses are so sweet.
